Calculation basis

MEd = qd·L²/8; VEd = qd·L/2; Mb,Rd = χLT·W·fy/γM1; Vpl,Rd = Av·fy/(√3·γM0); elastic service deflection uses E·I.
Important engineering note: χLT, section class/effective properties and resistance factors must match the applicable Eurocode edition and National Annex. This screen does not calculate lateral-torsional buckling, local buckling, interaction, web crippling, concentrated loads or stability of the system.
