EN 1992-4 Anchor Capacity Organizer

Organize tension and shear demand against user-entered EN 1992-4 / ETA resistance components and partial factors.

EN 1992-4ETA / product dataComponent resistance organizer

Scope & assumptions

Equal distribution of concentric tension and shear over identical anchors. Characteristic resistances are entered by the user from the relevant ETA/product assessment or a separate verified calculation.

Calculation basis

Per-anchor demand = group action / n. Design resistance for each failure mode = characteristic resistance / selected partial factor. Governing tension and shear resistances are the minimum applicable design values.
Important engineering note: EN 1992-4 anchor design requires product-specific assessment data, geometry/edge/spacing effects, load distribution, cracked/uncracked concrete, seismic/fire conditions and interaction rules. This organizer does not replace those checks.

Frequently asked questions

Is this a complete code design?

No. It is a transparent preliminary calculation. Code-specific limits, detailing, stability and project conditions must be verified independently.

Can I use the result for construction?

Use the result as a screening or checking aid only. Final design and construction documents should be verified by a qualified professional where required.

Why are some resistance factors entered by the user?

Many design standards contain member-, material-, product- or project-specific values. Metric Republic keeps these visible and user-controlled instead of hiding assumptions.
