DRAWING CLEANER · PDF + DXF + DWG
Plan Cleaner
Turn overloaded architectural drawings into clear engineering backgrounds. Keep only the information your discipline needs and export a clean PDF plus layered DXF — without uploading project files.
PDF, DXF and DWG · Local browser processing · Seven disciplines
Clean plan preview
Every page is rebuilt as vector linework.
Clean architectural plans for every engineering discipline
Architectural drawings often contain furniture, hatches, notes and specialist information that other disciplines do not need. Plan Cleaner analyses vector geometry, text and CAD layers, keeps relevant context and rebuilds a lighter working plan for coordination, preliminary design and detailed planning.
Frequently asked questions about cleaning CAD and PDF plans
Which files can Plan Cleaner process?
Plan Cleaner accepts vector PDF files, ASCII DXF files and standard 2D DWG drawings up to 40 MB. PDF sets may contain up to 30 pages.
Are project drawings uploaded to a server?
No. Processing takes place locally in the browser. The selected drawing bytes are not sent to a Plan Cleaner server.
Can Plan Cleaner clean scanned plans?
No. Scans and image-only PDFs do not contain reliable vector objects. Export a vector PDF from the authoring software or use DXF/DWG.
Which engineering disciplines are supported?
Structural, electrical, HVAC, plumbing and drainage, fire safety, energy and building physics, and civil or site planning are supported.
What does Plan Cleaner export?
It exports a clean vector PDF for review and coordination plus a layered ASCII DXF for further CAD work.
